Spain did play better but the ref destroyed the game with his decisions imo, but fudge it!

I think the ref was good under the conditions, not just because I'm English, the only decision he got wrong for me was goalkick he gave that was clearly a corner. I'm pretty sure he saw the karate kick, but he decided, 20 minutes into a World Cup final, he didn't want to draw it dead (because it would of been, the only reason Holland lasted 116 minutes is because they decided to come out and physically abuse the Spanish team, and not allow them to play their football).
You also have to factor how hard it would of been, in a World Cup final, to referee the behavior of the players, I mean really, 7/11 of the Holland team should be ashamed of themselves for the performance they put on, disgusting tackles, lack of respect to both officals and players.
Holland were a great team throughout the tournament and I had money riding on them, but they didn't deserve to win, probably one of the worst performances at a world cup finals I've ever seen, almost cringeworthy, you could tell on the training field they just said to eachother " Look, I know we can't match them for skill, good play, so let's just physically overdo it and try to injur them". If the ref had made all the "right red cards" the match would of ended with about 7 Holland players and probably 4-0 to Spain, GJ referee and I don't know how the dutch have the nerve to blame the referee(By that I mean the players and the dutch fans who directed their whole loss towards the referee, not really towards you as I understand you aknowledge Spain played better).
P.S I know it was a late reply but I only just read this thread.
